Good
morning campers!
Decadent Publishing hopes you are making as much of
the summer as we are here at Camp IwannaNewBookAndTheTimeToEnjoyIt. The
fresh air and pine trees are providing a lovely atmosphere for our writing and
editing endeavors. We are swimming in the lake (Kindles in zip top bags, of
course), riding the trails with our special laptop bracing saddles and
generally enjoying our relaxing summer vacation. At the end of the season,
we’re putting on a show! We were considering re-enacting one of the 1Night
Stand stories but realized it would ruin camp’s PG13 rating. Looks like it will
have to be a story from the Bono site! Those are enjoyable for the whole
family.
Around the
electric campfire the other night, we were making s’mores Margaritas in our solar
charged blender, and the ideas were flowing like the delightful drinks. Sweet
and tasty.
1Night Stand is open for submissions and we would particularly like
to see some stories with a Latino flavor. The Castillo family is Cuban…Jagger
and Jackson are as hot as anything and we’ve been hearing that readers would
like to see more hot heroes like them. Do you like to write Puerto Rican,
Mexican…Argentinian, or Spanish (and more!) characters? We’d love them to be part of our series.
Interracial stories are always welcome, and popular!
M/M…bring
em! Ménage, why not? We’re very excited about the upcoming stories and can’t
wait to see more!
Everyone
applauded, even those who hadn’t put their drinks down, so a bit of sweeping up
and the whirring of the blender interrupted the proceedings, but with
everyone’s glasses dusted with sugar, and fresh, fluffy marshmallows floating
in the yummy chocolate beverages, topped with a smidgen of graham cracker
crumbs, we got back to business.
A crossover, with a 1Night Stand date taking place in one of
the other Decadent series would be a welcome addition to the lines! Freewill,
Elatia…
I keep
thinking of the Honor Guard line. A lonely American far from home, defending
our embassy from any and all dangers? Wouldn’t he like a date? A nice girl to
spend the evening with and ohhh, well…anything past that is up to them!
I have to
go now, I’m in charge of the refreshments for our next campout, and I’m thinking
of the possibilities. In fact, leave a comment and suggest a brand new and
exciting beverage I can concoct in my handy solar blender…and I’ll pick one
commenter at random and award the winner’s choice of a 1Night Stand book!
Happy
summer, campers! Be sure to watch out for sunburn and mosquitoes.
Try Vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk, and A LOT of Baileys!!
