Paging Doctor Wolf!




I find that certain kinds of careers lend themselves to certain types of genres in the romance world.  It’s not unusual to read about a doctor in a category romance but I haven’t seen too many medical doctors running around in the paranormal genre. Oh sure, you can have scientists (doing research that accidently stumbles on the lycans gene?) but your good-looking medical doctor who wants to take care of the sick?  Not so much.

When I sat down to write Paging Doctor Wolf I wanted to have a hero who could be both a werewolf and a doctor.  Dallas didn’t know there were werewolves until he became one. 

What kind of profession do you find really sexy and would like to see more of?  What do you see underrepresented

    A profession not seen often - Dentist - chiropractor -

    Now that I think about it, I haven't read about any furry doctors either. I'm definitely intrigued now. I'm into cowboys more than anything but I don't think that would work because the animals would sense danger. I would like to see a detective or sheriff as a werewolf.

    I think Doctors are really sexy :) As for underrepresented...hmmm..not sure.

    Underrepresented.......we don't hear s lot about the Air Force or maybe Veterinarians.

    i think Doctors and you also don't read a lot about fire fighters(Jumpers). there are getting to be more now about fire fighters but still not a lot and most don't include those men that are the "jumpers". the fire fighters that jump from the planes and fight the fire at the front line of it.

    Grats on the new release, Rebecca! I just love the premise, hook and cover for this!! Totally can't help but think of that old 80s song when I see the cover, though -- paging Dr Beat. LOL
    I'd love to see more fire fighters in the front line, too, Tammy!! HECK YEAH... heck, any firefighter will do ;)hehe
    But I'd love to see more CIA type heros, too!
