Curve My Appetite

Buy Curve My Appetite HERE

By Melissa Kendall
Today I’m sitting down with my hero Dean Martorino to find out a little more about him.

Melissa: Now, Dean, without giving too much away how about you tell us a little about yourself?

Dean: I’m a good Italian boy, born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I moved to L.A. in my twenties and kind of fell into a career. But more than a decade later I am still in the public eye. I know that my time is almost up though at thirty-five, I am and old man. Recently however, I met this lovely woman and she has definitely changed my perspective on life.

Melissa: Ah, yes, your career definitely keeps you in the public eye. How did you manage to meet the lovely Sally?

Dean: A guardian angel buy the name of Madame Evangeline pointed me in the right direction. I’ve always been one to do as I was told. So I went with her suggestion and it was spot on.

Melissa: I have heard Madame Eve has some skills. What's one thing about Sally you find irresistible?

Dean: Oh that is such an easy one. Her curves, of course. I love the fact that she has a little extra cushion for the pushin’. Nothing bugs me more than a woman who is all skin and bones.

Melissa: Okay, so if Sally asked you to do something outrageous, what would you say and why?

Dean: Name the time and the place and I’ll be there. Doing something outrageous brought Sally into to my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Melissa: Okay so one last question: where do you see yourself in five years time?

Dean: I hope that I am happily retired, living up the normal life somewhere with a wife and kids. But hey, who knows what the future holds?

Dean, thank you so much for taking a few minutes out of your busy schedule to sit down and talk to me.

Sally Austens’ sexual experience is limited and unsatisfactory at best. Now, as she turns thirty, it looks like the relationship train has missed her stop. When a friend tells her about 1Night Stand and suggests it might just change her life, she’s skeptical but shoots for the stars when asking for her perfect date. Go big or go home, right?
Dean Martorino lives in the public eye. Surrounded on a daily basis by society’s idea of stunning beauty, he longs for a woman with curves he can get lost in. At the suggestion of his long-time friend and manager, Dean shares his secret with Madame Eve hoping she can find him a match to fill his arms and satisfy his desires.
Can Sally accept the beauty Dean sees in her long enough to curve his appetite or will they both go home hungry?

What's Next, For Me?

Ah, yes, time for another blog. I’m beginning to feel a bit unworthy as all the other regular 1NS bloggers have been writing steamy little pages for this site—I’ve got nothin’ right about now.
I do have news, however, Blogmaven extraordinaire, Val, who also pulls more than triple duty in the form of Submissions Expert, Hand-holder, and You-Really-Don’t-Want-To-Do-That overseer has delivered good (?) news to this particular author – yeah, the autumn release of For Me I’ve been so geeked about, well, it’s been moved up, waaay up –like next month.
Which is all for the better – I have a hard time ‘moving on’ until a book is completely ‘finished.’
So, For Me, what’s it about? Well, it started, like many of my stories do, as a completely different animal. I can tell you, for certain!, it’s the final of six  stories fellow-DP/1NS author, Deanna Wadsworth and I have written with over-lapping characters. My female lead, Abby, is the sister of Deanna’s male lead in The Best Ever, Jason. And, Jason reaches back to my Haste Ye Back – with more over-laps until you get to Deanna’s Bear It All.
But, I digress, what’s it about? How about just reading the blurb?

Pretty and professional, Dr. Abby Lewis has enough money and friends to keep her bed warm at night. Nearing forty-five, however, she finds herself alone and single. Even her geeky little brother nabbed a drop-dead gorgeous professional baseball player for a boyfriend, so what the hell is wrong with her? The orthopedic surgeon has diagnosed her own malady --- most men don’t want a woman who, even beautiful and charming, is fifty pounds past perfect.

Handsome and athletic, Casey Rupp runs with the fast crowd – money, prestige and any woman he desires. He finds, however, most of them are a shell of the person they could be. Despite his prowess and sexual exploits, he yearns for that one special woman who can satisfy him beyond the physical realm.

Does Madame Eve have the cure for what ails these two lonely hearts?

Yeah, I think so. And, Hunter Hayes wraps up the story perfectly in his Wanted video.

Soon I'll be pouring over cover mock-ups and tearing out my hair over edits. Then again, maybe the editor who cracks the whip to make me a better writer will be kind and my flogging won't be as severe as in projects past. But, I welcome it -- in the end, makes me a better writer and gives you an even better story!
       Happy Reading!

When not playing with the people in her head, Wendy has a silly life working in TV and radio. She shares her clean, yet perpetually dusty hovel with her her way-too-cute chef husband and two furry feline kids. She's proud to be a displaced Cheesehead, now living in Cpl. Maxwell Klinger's hometown.

Can Fantasy Become Reality?

By Melissa Kendall

I am so excited to be here today to share with you my first 1NS book and first Decadent book as well.
I am sure most of us, at one time or another in our lives, have fantasized about being with someone famous. That, however, is how it stays purely fantasy. When Sally Austens sends her request to Madame Eve on the urging of her best friend she decides to request her ultimate fantasy never expecting in a million years for it to happen. As always, however, Madame Eve has a trick or two up her sleeve.

Excerpt:
For the umpteenth time, Dean checked his phone. Still no text. He sighed in frustration. Thirty minutes after they’d agreed to meet, and no sign of his date.
His misgivings about the 1Night Stand concept weren’t eased by the fact she hadn’t arrived yet. He longed for something different, but one-night stands were not his usual idea of fun. He preferred long-term relationships. Jerry, his best friend had assured him Madame Eve’s services were more love matches than sex.
He’d laughed, at first, finding the whole idea ridiculous. He doubted even the mystical Madame Eve could find his perfect woman. Jerry had laughed, too, but then he got serious and asked, “What do you have to lose?”
Dean’s regular fitness regime kept him in shape and looking good for thirty-five. The women he met were stick-thin, self-obsessed, and semi-plastic, typical of the industry he worked in. Most of them were pretty, and though he’d dated a few, they weren’t what he fantasized about. No, in his dreams, the ladies all had natural and much curvier figures.
Big, curvy women had always fascinated him. Because he lived his life in the public eye, he’d been reluctant to go after what he wanted. At his age, though, with his career on the downhill slide, he realized he didn’t care anymore. He’d had his time in the spotlight. He wanted to settle down and have a family. Hence, he’d decided to find someone who loved him, not his public persona. He’d spent too long denying his true identity.
A knock made his heart skip a beat. She’s here. After a quick check in the mirror, he steeled himself and opened the door.
His mouth went dry and all coherent thought fled. Even if he had the words to express how she blew him away, he didn’t think he could find his voice. He ogled the gorgeous, buxom brunette standing in the doorway. His admiration cut short, as her face paled.
“You’re—” She stopped talking mid-sentence, her eyes rolled back into her skull.
Reacting on instinct, he reached out and wrapped his hands around her waist, trying to catch her before she hit the ground. However, instead of stopping her from falling, he was pulled to the carpet, too, both of them crashing in a heap.
Women fainted around him all the time. It no longer freaked him out. It was, however, the first time he’d fallen to the floor with one. Her pulse thumped strongly under his fingers. Relief washed over him; she was okay. The ridiculousness of it all hit him and a deep belly laugh escaped his lips.
Even with the less than successful start to his date, the feel of her in his arms had parts of him standing to attention. His curiosity dictated he find out more. Madame Eve had made an excellent choice. She might have found the perfect woman after all.

Thank you all for dropping by I hope you enjoy my addition to the fabulous 1Night Stand Series

Chatting with Strawberry Kiss's GAVIN

Buy Strawberry Kisses HERE

 by Dominique Eastwick

Thank you Gavin for taken a minute and coming to chat with us.
Tell us a little about yourself? I am a boring accountant, divorcee with a teenage son.

What music do you listen too? I love Jazz

What is your perfect evening? Hmm that would be hard. I evening at a ball game with my son is always perfect but an evening with a certain lady now that’s divine.

Is there anything you wish Dominique Eastwick had kept their mouth shut about? Well she did go into quite some detail but then it was a hot night with Mia. I am just happy she didn’t talk about the following nights. That might have gotten us arrested.

Do you feel you were portrayed fairly? Yes

Tell us about Mia what drew you to her? Mia is everything I have ever wanted in a woman, she is considerate and confident. She has curves where women should have curves. Within seconds I knew she was the one I had been waiting for.

What do you do to relax? I sit back listen to Jazz sip on some bourbon and curl up with Mia.

What’s your favorite sports team? L.A. Lakers

What about the Man on the cover is that a fair representation of you? At the time of this story, yes I had been working out a lot in preparation for my 1NS date.

What’s you biggest turn ons? Do you really have to ask? MIA!

What is your biggest fear? That I will wake up and Mia will have just been a fantasy.

Strawberry Kisses.
Are they ready to gamble on a 1Night Stand?
Mia hides behind her computer, designing popular computer games. And though she knows just what to do to keep men coming back for more on the other end of the modem, she doesn’t seem to have the same knack in person.

Gavin hides behind numbers. Since his wife left him, the only thing he cares about is his son and his job. One failed relationship was enough, but if the right curvaceous woman came into the picture he just might manipulate the numbers a bit.

Can two meddling sisters enlist Madame Eve to bring Mia and Gavin together and show them two is always better than one?
