The summer sunshine has hit in
full force in Minnesota. Up at 5:00am and not down until after 9:00pm. That
leaves a lot of hours to fill, and not nearly as much slumber to enjoy. Some
days I feel like I have an obligation to spend time outside. If the sun is
shining, the humidity is low, and the temperature is under ninety, by golly, I
should be outside. So, I pack up my crew and we go to the park or do yard work,
or go to the pool—something outside.
After a long stretch of long
days outside, soaking up the sun...I pray for rain.
Big rain that leaves big
puddles and forces a body to stay inside—even for a day or two. Ahhh, magic. I
try very hard to be extroverted and for the most part, I am, but being inside
my house with a movie turned on and no where I need to be is a pretty fantastic
way to break up the sunshine stretches.
Which makes me think of the One
Night Stand stories. How many of those characters were itching to make a
change, even if it only lasted one night? Sometimes humans crave a taste of the
exotic, even if the ‘exotic’ is really a shot of familiar feeling—like love,
lust, comfort—whatever relationships ignite.
In my One Night Stand, Panties
Optional, Maggie and Sam need that shot of different, in more ways than one.

Maggie Chase has a
wild night of passion planned with the help of Madame Evangeline’s dating
service, 1NightStand. A single night with an incredible man, what more can a
busy girl ask for?
Sam Peterson requests that Madame Evangeline help him find a woman who isn’t after him for his money. Maggie may just fit the bill, but with her list of fantasies in hand, she may be more than he bargained for.
Forever isn’t on either one of their minds, but maybe it doesn’t have to be.
