  2. One year I went to bed with a few gifts under the tree on Christmas Eve. On Christmas day when I woke up, there were so many. I believed in Santa that year. araba44 @ hotmail.com

  6. One of my favorite memories was the year Santa left a trail of snowy footprints throughout our home starting out at the fireplace. I never became suspicious that Mom had to vacuum up the footprints (until years later when she told me it was baby powder that they used to make the prints of the boots dad wore). It made me believe in Santa doubly that year..... Thanks bunches for the giveaway!

  9. My favorite Christmas Tradition is a Christmas-Eve Dinner. Since I was a small child we have had Fondue which consists on beef cut into small pieces and everyone gets their own small bowl of meat to cook in the pot. Dinner usually takes about 3 hours because you have to cook each piece of meat one piece at a time. The funniest thing is that if your meat falls off your fork in the pot you have to kiss everyone at the table of the opposite sex on the check. My family has been doing this since I was a child and I am 50 years old. I have 4 siblings and including their kids and the grandchildren it can be quit the night, but we all love it. I think it is the best quality time we all spend together all year. We talk and laugh and the spirit of Christmas really comes alive not to mention the love of being with family. After dinner we open one present each, one person at a time. We have a large family and the night is can be very long. After the present opening we go to Midnight mass together. That is our Christmas Tradition.

  11. We had a big meal on Christmas Eve so on Christmas day we'd have an antipasto with room temperature safe food out all day for people to nibble on. My mother would also make a crock pot of sloppy joe mixture for those not thrilled with the antipasto. It was about the only time we got sloppy joes so it was a real treat.

  14. Generally, we don't have many traditions at Christmas. The one thing I do usually do is go shopping with my sister.
