Lover Enslaved

Coffee Time Romance held a Book Brew this week and the theme was: Exotic Places. I could not think of any place more exotic that I had written about than Mumbai, India.

My Decadent 1Night Stand book, Lover Enslaved, was set in Mumbai, India. I’m lucky enough to know a fellow Decadent author – Zee Monodee – who has lived in Mumbai, and another one – Tara Quan – who has visited. Zee provided all the necessary Hindi swear words and the little bitty details that kept the story true to the lifestyle of the city itself. Tara provided the brain curry and an awesome video. To see the video go here: Book Brew post 2

In the meantime, here is the storyline for Lover Enslaved and images you might enjoy:

Stranded for twenty-four hours in Mumbai, India, contract negotiator, Thomas Barkley searches for a man who can make him forget his pain. When a trip through the red light district leaves him cold, he turns to Madame Eve’s service and finds a shot at redemption—but first, he has to survive it.
Indian male prostitute, Arjun Mukesh, begged Madame Eve to set him up for one night of real pleasure. He knows better than to expect anything but a brief hiatus from his miserable life. When Thomas showers Arjun with tender and very real affection, his heart begins to ache for more than a taste of the life he cannot have. Unfortunately, his boss Ranjeet won’t to let him go without a fight.
Amidst a spray of bullets, Thomas must convince Arjun to take a chance on a new life in America before it’s too late for both of them.

Now I’m curious to know how many readers have been to, or lived in, India. Let me know in the comments section and you could win a free copy of Lover Enslaved!

Have a yummy Wednesday!
