Interview with Ava from Another Night, Another Planet

Hi Ava, thanks so much for joining us today. I know you’re about to leave for another tour aboard Star Spirit, so I’ll just take a little of your time. To start, please tell us a bit about yourself.

Ava [sits in her chair, her foot bouncing]: Um, there’s not much to say. I live on Earth, but spend most of my time aboard the mother traveler, Star Spirit, cleaning rooms for the wealthy people onboard.

Can you tell us about Nate?

Ava: Nate? What’s he got to do with this? He’s an ex-boyfriend who I thought I loved. And then one day, he just left, without a word. I haven’t seen him in a few years.

What was your thought when you first met him?

Ava: I felt sorry for him. He was an orphan and didn’t have any friends. We started out as friends and then became lovers. And it hurt so much when I didn’t hear from him again.

What was your favorite thing about him?

Ava: He treated me like I was the most precious thing in the world. Until he left.

What is your greatest fear?

Ava: Being stuck as a housekeeper for the rest of my life. I mean, it’s great money, but I’d like to settle down one day, have a family.

What is your greatest strength? Weakness?

Ava: My greatest strength is that I’m hard-working. And my weakness would be my hope for true love. I mean, it’s hard to believe it exists with everything I see on Star Spirit.

What is your favorite color?

Ava: Red.

If you could vacation anywhere in the universe, where would you go?

Ava: I don’t know. I see many planets while working on Star Spirit. I guess I’d go someplace the mother travelers haven’t taken me to yet.

If you met Nate again and could spend an entire day with him, where would you go and what would you do?

Ava: I don’t think I’d want to go anywhere with him. He hurt me so much. I guess if I did see him again, I’d want to know why he left without telling me.

Boxers or Briefs?

Ava: I don’t wear either.

Chocolate or Vanilla?

Ava: Chocolate all the way.
