I’ve always been a writer long before I was published. Writing has been my escape for as long as I can remember. I can get lost in my own words for hours at a time. I always could even as a child. The stakes are just a little higher now that I get to share my words with all of you.

People ask why I write romance, particularly that of the erotic nature. I like to create strong, sexy men who know how to treat a woman in and out of the bedroom. I find that indulging in my characters and storylines help me create the most intriguing plots and people. My characters have a back story even if I just hint at it. The reader knows there is something deeper and sometimes darker going on.

When I stumbled upon the 1NS series I found a way to feed my indulgence of sexy men, lusty plots and escape-inducing tales. What’s sexier than a one-night stand with a stimulating, sexually gifted, alpha male? I can’t think of anything. LOL

When I decided to embark on the 1NS journey, I did my best to come up with one of my strongest, most captivating heroes. Professor Dominick Alvarez is smart, demanding, tender and attentive. He’ll leave any woman swooning and coming back for more. Alexandria soon realizes that twelve hours could never be enough with her dream date. Too bad their arrangement was for just one night.

In the Mood for a May/December?

I know Cougar romances are all the rage these days, but I’ve always had a thing for older men. My husband is nine years older than me. Growing up, I was attracted to the more mature actors and loved when older men were paired with younger women on the soaps. I enjoy a sexy, domineering, take charge romance hero.

When I decided to write a 1NS, the May/December theme was the obvious choice for me. Now, don’t get me wrong, when I say a more mature man, I’m not talking retirement home and false teeth.
