La Isla Del Encanto

By Evelise Archer

Hopefully the Spanish title grabbed your attention and now you’re asking, what the hey? My release, Tropical Paradise takes place in beautiful Puerto Rico, where the sun, sand, and the sea are in abundance.
As a Latina, the island paradise is near and dear to my heart. Beautiful men and women grace the island’s beaches everyday soaking up the sun and looking for love. So, I decided, what better place than this scrumptious back drop for my 1Night Stand?
Writing Tropical Paradise was fun as I mapped the island in my mind, knowing that I had been there or could pinpoint any of the places. The drive from the airport in San Juan towards the coast, the sun shining brightly and the radio blaring. Every word written was a memory come to life and fueled my desire to tell Leo and Skyler’s story.
What you may find ironic is that out of everyone in my family, I am the least beachy-heat person. My family laughs as they ask, what kind of Latina are you, since you hate the heat and sand? What can I say- I may be Latina hot and have a Latin temper, but the heat is not my friend! I think is another life I was Eskimo and not Latina.
I am my own oxymoron, but that’s what makes me unique and this Chica loves unique. So, how about a contest? Is there something that makes you an oxymoron or very unique? Like me, do you love snow to be measured in feet not inches while maintaining a Latin flair?

Leave a comment and don’t forget your email address so Decadent can send a copy of Tropical Paradise to the winner.

What Happens in Vegas....

 by Kayleigh Malcolm

What happens in Vegas. Stays in Vegas.
Everyone has heard of Sin City’s cardinal rule. I wonder how many people really do take it to heart and go crazy.
The first book in my Sin City Clique is out today. It's a series revolving around 5 women who have been friends since middle school. They were the freaks in the back of the school bus who became life-long friends.
As the years have passed they have made a point to get together on a yearly basis. This time they all met in Las Vegas with every intention to follow through on their fantasies. Each of them have a hidden fantasy that they are going to explore this weekend and Madam Eve has helped them meet the perfect man…or should I say men. They do have a common fantasy about bisexual men.
I had a lot of fun getting to know each of these incredible ladies and I’m looking forward to introducing them to you over the coming year.
Have you been to Vegas before? Would you do something really crazy there if you knew it would stay a secret?

Rolling in Sin blurb:
An exciting weekend in Sin City with her friends is just what Audrey needs. Living a mundane, repetitive life in a data entry job and having major body insecurities have held her back from pursuing her deepest fantasies. A trip to Vegas with her best friends might be her chance for a single night of memories to last her for the rest of her life.
Max and Geoff are lovers well known in high-rolling poker games. Spontaneity and exhibitionism brought them together, but now they want a woman to share their lives with. Hopefully, Madame Eve can find them a woman open to their fetishes who isn’t more interested in their money than them.
Audrey is the physical embodiment of everything they desire in a woman. Lush, gorgeous and intelligent. One night isn’t going to be enough with her, but can they convince her to stay?
It doesn’t take long for Audrey to realize she’s way over her head with the gorgeous gamblers. They actually think she’s sexy and desirable. Not only that, they want to share their lives with her! Can she set aside her insecurities and spend her life with them?

Kayleigh Malcom is a firm believer that all love is beautiful and everyone deserves a Happily Ever After....well except for those involved with cancelling Firefly. She's still holding a grudge over that one.
Sticking with one genre is a talent she hasn't achieved yet and can be found creating worlds as normal as our own or as fantastic as her dreams. Her characters have to face real life challenges, as many of us do, but love always finds a way to conquer all.
A social media junkie, she can be found haunting many different sites and loves to hear from her readers.

Top Ten Favorite Everything He Wants Quotes!

By Megan Slayer

I thought I’d do something a little different this time around. In the spirit of David Letterman’s Top Ten List, I wanted to share my top ten favorite quotes from Everything He Wants.

10. “You’re not turned off? The tats, the piercing, the crazy-ass hair doesn’t bother you? My past isn’t stellar and I’ve made some stupid decisions. I’m clean, but not sparkling clean.” ~ Jeremy
9. Damn, there was so much more to the man than he’d expected. ~ Trace
8. “You can’t do the single thing forever.” ~ Joya
7. Jeremy’s eyes widened. “Most guys think I’m a freak or they want money. You haven’t even asked about my tats.”
6. “I’m here to meet my destiny.” ~ Jeremy
5. Trace liked a man with confidence, but in Jeremy he also sensed unleashed passion, fury and fear battling within.
4. Dressed in casual wear, Trace personified sex.
3. “But you’re not a mistake. You’re just what I wanted.” ~ Trace
2. “You don’t have to keep the shields up. I’m not like the other guys.” ~ Jeremy
1. “You’re a treasure,” Trace murmured, his voice a soothing rumble. “Flawed, sexy, and just who I want.”
What do you like best about the series? Which quotes were your favorites? Let me know. J

Here’s a little more about my story, Everything He Wants:

1Night Stand
Everything He Wants
by Megan Slayer

Trace has almost everything he wants—a great job and a well-ordered life, but he’s ready for more—the right guy to share it with. A chance meeting after a hockey game with the man of his dreams spurs him on to turn to the one source he knows will help him out—Madame Eve’s 1Night Stand service.
Jeremy can’t forget the difficult childhood and subsequent bad decisions he made while trying to forget it. He wants the gorgeous air traffic controller, but he’s afraid his past will get in the way like it always does. If all Madame Eve can give them is one night…he’ll take it.
With Madame Eve’s help, can the men forge the relationship they both want, or will they crash and burn?

About the Author:
When she's not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don't seem to mind.
When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best. The cabana boys are willing to serve, unless she needs them. She always need them. So be nice to Javier or he will bite--on command.
She also masquerades under the name Wendi Zwaduk.

Christmas With Class

Happy holidays! I’d like to wish you all the happiest and safest of days, and thanks to those who have bought A Class Act  and A Different Class (unlike other Decadent authors talking to you this week, I do not have a holiday work with the publisher. Never say never, though. It was suggested maybe I offer up a piece on how the man in my Class series might celebrate the season.
A Different Class, while part of the 1Night Stand imprint, focuses a bit on Rod’s line of work, brewing. Sigmund Brewing is small but gaining traction, and as I write more you may find the company figuring more into stories. Today, I envisioned a raucous holiday party to celebrate a successful year.
Imagine, if you will, a large meeting room draped in sparkling red and green garlands. A Charlie Brown tree sits in one corner, the long meeting table laden with supermarket cold cuts and chicken wings. Somebody’s tapped a keg of seasonal beer, and everybody has a red Solo cup in hand. There’s an iPhone plugged into a speaker and everybody’s singing along to Bruce Springsteen’s Santa Claus anthem.
Rod Maloney, the company’s owner, is seen in high spirits—it’s been a while since his employees have found him so happy, but he has reason this year. He’s brought a date, and people at the brewery are familiar with Glenn, a man Rod went to high school with but didn’t really get to know until recently. People are sketchy about how they met (something to do with a nearby resort and a blind date?) but it doesn’t matter. They’re close together and under the mistletoe, sneaking kisses while the music changes to something more traditional.
People slip in an out of the meeting room. Are they hooking up elsewhere, in abandoned offices or the narrow cubbyhole that houses the copier? Hard to say, but nobody seems to notice when Rod tugs Glenn out the door and leads him to his office.
Door locks, papers pushed aside. The Santa hat falls from Glenn’s head with a weak tinkling noise and he’s on his back on the desk, adjusting for his boyfriend’s weight on him. With fevered longing they kiss and grope each other, fueled by seasonal micro-brew and the spirit of giving. Two people who wallowed in loneliness earlier this year have no fear anymore. They have each other, and the promise of a bright future.
Merry Christmas, and to all a good night.

I am Leigh Ellwood. I write smutty stories about people who like getting naked and having sex. Some have more sex than others, some have sex with people of the same gender, some have sex with more than one person, and still others have sex with toys and things that require the use of batteries. My stories range from a few thousand words to well past 70k. The book list link above breaks everything down for you – genre, length, and other attributes. My books are available at Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Kobo, and ARe. Really, just type my name in any bookstore site and something is bound to show up.

Taking Control

by Virginia Nelson

All of us have done something—something amazingly stupid that we think everyone is constantly judging us for because, wow, was that a mess up. The thing about human nature, at least in my experience, is that few have the time to focus on the things we tear ourselves down for. Instead, most folks are busy tearing themselves apart to take a moment and judge us.
However, sometimes our flail is in public, in a forum that can’t be easily forgotten. In the age of reality tv, vines, YouTube and social media taking over the world, it is really easy to become ‘internet famous’ for five minutes and for the rest of your life, you’re the skateboard up the nose guy.
How can you find love past that kind of infamy? Well, Mellie decides to hire a dating service…because she doesn’t want to always be the girl the guy on the reality tv show didn’t pick. Could you be brave enough to do something like that?

Looking for love...
After being voted off Find Your Hubby, a reality TV show, Mellie gave up on finding love. Instead, she spends her final check on a spur-of-the-moment fling, paying for a matchmaking service that offers the perfect person - for one night only.
Can you buy passion?
When the "perfect person" turns out to be a woman, Mellie first questions Madame Eve's choice...then her own desires.

About the Author
Virginia Nelson believed them when they said, “Write what you know.” Small town girl writing small town romance, her characters are as full of flaws, misunderstandings, and flat out mistakes as Virginia herself. When she’s not writing or plotting to take over the world, she likes to hang out with the greatest kids in history, play in the mud, drive far too fast, and scream at inanimate objects. Virginia likes knights in rusted and dinged up armor, heroes that snarl instead of croon, and heroines who can’t remember to say the right thing even with an author writing their dialogue. Her books are full of snark, sex, and random acts of ineptitude—not always in that order.

Start Spreading the News…

I am excited to see my second 1Night Stand story, A Class Act, available for sale at Decadent Publishing. After the good reception to A Different Class, I knew I had at least one more story in this universe to tell. A Class Act takes two of my heroes to New York City, and while they don’t get to do much sightseeing, they have a good time. J
NYC is one of my favorite places to visit. Every time I’m in Manhattan I see something new, and that’s partly why I set this story here. Of course, it goes without saying that the Castillo family would have at least one property in the city, and I’m sure Madame Eve knows her way around. Where I live, I can take an express bus to NYC for only $70 round trip. That’s a bargain, and it frees up money to spend elsewhere. It’s a goal of mine to spend a weekend there on a Broadway trip. Pick two or three shows I must see, then a nice dinner.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing a few shows on Broadway. My first was twenty years ago, when my husband and I got last minute tickets to Miss Saigon. We missed the “name” actor, unfortunately, but as it turned out his understudy did an excellent job. Next, I saw Mamma Mia with a friend and my then five-year-old daughter. It was a bit loud for her, but it made an impression because she loves the music (and the movie version).
My favorite to date is the revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. We were lucky to catch both Daniel Radcliffe and John Larroquette in that show. I was a die-hard Night Court fan back in the day, so seeing John perform live was a dream come true. Oh, and I liked Mr. Potter, too. ;-)
In A Class Act, Paul is an actor in a hit Broadway show. His “date” is his former drama teacher. Will they compare notes or get down to some extracurricular activities? You’ll have to read to find out. Hope you enjoy it!

Getting Schooled

By: Leigh Ellwood

I am so pleased Decadent has contracted what will become my second 1Night Stand story. A Class Act, like the first (A Different Class) is M/M and connected to the class/school alumni theme. This time, instead of two former classmates hooking up, I focus on a different pairing that may play in some fantasies – the teacher crush.
Before any hackles raise, I’ll point out in the story that the people involved are a teacher and his former, now mature student. It’s not like that Police song. Well, maybe it is in a way, but I hope you enjoy reading it. Personally, I’ve not had a teacher crush (the result of having attended a Catholic school populated by ancient nuns), but maybe you have. A Class Act depicts a fantasy come true, which is one facet of the 1Night Stand concept – satisfaction for all people involved.
At this writing, I have started a third story to tie-in with the theme, but I won’t divulge details just yet. One advantage to writing part of a series is that you already have ideas come up from previous installments, and you get to revisit characters and see how they are doing. That will be the case in the future, as long as Decadent likes what I send them. All the stories, like the first, will be M/M since it is a favorite pairing to write.
For now, though, A Different Class is a great 1NS to try because it touches on themes relevant to today. If you have ever fretted over a reunion or wondered what became of people in your past, you may relate to this story. If you enjoy angsty heroes who overcome issues you will definitely enjoy it. If you do read it, please tweet at me @LeighEllwood and let me know.

Stay classy!
Leigh

Got a Feeling 43 Is Gonna Be a Good Year

By Leigh Ellwood

I turn 43 today, and I'll tell you right now I have a big challenge ahead of me. How can I ensure the next year of my life will exceed the previous one in terms of epic win? Let's review what's happened since August 25, 2013:

I helped organized the adult programming track at MarsCon.
I went to New York City and conquered my fear of the Roosevelt Island Tramway.
I went to Sicily. Friggin' Sicily. I went to the town where my great-grandparents lived before they fled Mussolini.
I celebrated 20 years of marriage.
I attended my 25-year high school reunion.
I got a new car.
I was a Featured Author at Authors After Dark.
Best of all, I published my first Decadent title, A Different Class.

Yeah, that's quite a bit of win, given the greater scheme of things. Of course, I've had to deal with some disappointments. The TARDIS has yet to make an appearance in my backyard. I might finally need glasses, too. Come to think of it, those things may be related. Maybe I overlooked the Doctor thanks to my bad eyesight. Damn.
I'm not worried, though. There are things on the horizon for Year 43 that could lead to good things. I have an invitation to Finland to visit a friend - just have to come up with airfare. I have an awesome job, and I write. I may not meet the Doctor this year, but I found a Who-themed restaurant in New York, so that's one road trip planned.
Above all else, I hope to have more stories here for readers to enjoy. While at AAD, somebody pointed out to me that they enjoy my M/M romance more than anything else. I may take the time to explore that genre more, and if reader response is positive I'll keep at it.

For now, I'm off to have cake.

The Morning After

Readers always want to know what happens the day after a 1Night Stand. Well, in my bestselling book, The Best Ever, young Jason Lewis is more than a little happy to wake up in the arms of his high school crush, superstar baseball pitcher Blake Huntington. #surreal
And Blake is more than happy to set aside his position and play catcher for Jason. #whowouldathunkit?
But these boys know how to switch it up in order to hit a homerun! Their two days in Vegas were filled with stolen moments of pleasure, and nights of exploring newfound delights. #xrated
So does what happens in Vegas stay in Vegas?
Not with these two!
For both Jason and Blake, they have found the love they have been looking for since the first time they met in high school. #dreamcometrue
Upon their return to Michigan, Blake was true to his word and the guys have been busy creating an online scholastic program and app that uses sports analogies to help kids understand math. So far, it is going well and should be live within the month. As you can read in the book, For Me, by Wendy Burke, the story of Jason’s sister, Abby, Jason and Blake are planning on moving in together.
With Blake’s sports career, however, their relationship still needs to remain on the down-low. As far as everyone else is concerned, Jason rents the pool house at Blake’s West Bloomfield home. Blake is working with his publicist and agent on if and when he decides to make their relationship public, but unfortunately that might be some time in the future.
Jason isn’t bothered by their need for discretion nearly as much as Blake, because he has never been one for social situations or public attention. #nothankyou!
It’s plenty awkward for him when Blake gets him box seats or ones behind the dugout, then takes him to functions as his “best friend and business partner.” He’d much rather blend into the crowd and watch his lover from the jumbotron, holding their love close to his heart and not sharing it with anyone. Surrounded by adoring fans and the electricity of the crowd, and knowing that Blake loves him? #thebestever
What lies ahead for these boys is unclear, as a sequel to their story is dancing around in my head, so that’s all the update you will for now. Maybe in the near future, we will hear what is even better than the best ever. #sequel?

The Best Ever—A 1Night Stand Story
Jason Lewis is a self-proclaimed nerdy guy who hates his red hair. Bullied most of his life, at 22 social situations still make him awkward. On a trip to the World Video Game Expo in Las Vegas, Jason decides to enlist the help of Madame Eve in his failed romantic endeavors. While at the con, he runs into sexy, professional baseball pitcher Blake Huntington, the guy he tutored in high school. Blake invites him to a party and after hanging out with his high school crush, Jason begins to regret booking his 1NS "encounter" later that night. But Madame Eve may have planned the best night ever.

Deanna Wadsworth might be a bestselling erotica author, but she leads a pretty vanilla life in Ohio with her wonderful husband and a couple adorable cocker spaniels. She has been spinning tales and penning stories since childhood, and her first erotic novella was published in 2010. When she isn’t writing books or brainstorming with friends, you can find her making people gorgeous in a beauty salon. She loves music and dancing, and can often be seen hanging out on the sandbar in the muddy Maumee River or chilling with her hubby and a cocktail in their basement bar. In between all that fun, Deanna cherishes the quiet times when she can let her wildly active imagination have the full run of her mind. Her fascination with people and the interworkings of their relationships have always inspired her to write romance with spice and love without boundaries.

A Date on a Space Station?

By Jessica E. Subject
With my 1Night Stand stories, I try to make some aspect of the story unusual, something that has not been done before. I’ve had alien characters, set the story on another planet, and one even on a spaceship. With Unknown Futures, since none of the main characters are aliens, I decided to make the setting part of the story.
Unknown Futures is set on a space station. Though not like the space station Chris Hadfield was the Commander on not too long ago. This space station has hotel rooms, a portal to travel there from Earth, tubes to ride in between floors, and an amazing dance club.
Here are some television shows and movies that are set on a space station. Some of them may have the same features as the one in my story.

Gravity
Elysium
The 100
Babylon 5
Ender’s Game
Battlestar Galactica
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Wars (Death Star)
2001: A Space Odyssey
Fantastic Four
Solaris
Wall-E
Galaxy High School

And here’s an excerpt with details about the space station in Unknown Futures:

V stopped, her arms dropping to her side. “We’re about to go in the tube. It’s a transportation system for getting around the station. I admit, it feels really weird, but it’s the fastest way to my place.” She smiled at a giant bug who seemed to have dropped from the sky. It waved a long, skinny limb before skittering off down the hall. “Since you’ve never traveled this way before, I’m going to hold your hands and we’ll go through together.”
V pressed a green button on the wall then linked their fingers. Jewel had no time to comprehend how the transport worked before they were sucked up into the air then shot through a narrow cylinder. She now knew what traveling through a shop vac would feel like. If she hadn’t been so worried about hitting someone else along the way and how she’d land, she could have enjoyed her proximity to V. No matter how much she tried to deny her feelings, she enjoyed her touch.
When they dropped out of the pipe, V reached out for her, but Jewel wasn’t ready for the impact. She crumpled to the ground, pulling the other woman down on top of her.
